How do I request a trip?
Through our app on the Apple App Store – Beach Sherpa.
When we are done with our beach day, will you take our stuff back off the beach too?
Yes, whenever you are getting ready to leave, just click “Leave the beach” (think about taking an Uber to dinner and then taking another one back home – same concept). You can also get a discount if you book and pay round-trip when arriving to the beach!
Where do we meet you?
We will come to you, where you are (car, vacation rental, etc) anywhere in market (currently Wrightsville Beach or Bald Head Island!)
How much does it cost?
It depends on how far you are from the beach and how much stuff you have but it tends to be $20-$30 one way.
How long until you show up?
This depends on where you are and how busy we are, but our goal is to always have Sherps available, so often we can arrive in just a few minutes but otherwise we try to be there in less than 10 minutes. Similar to Uber, the app will estimate how long until a Sherp will arrive.
What will you carry for us?
Anything that is not alive! Sadly no kids or dogs. Many families carry the light gear (beach bag, kid’s boogie board, etc.) while we take the load off carrying chairs, coolers, shade, games, boards, etc.
What if I have something that is too big/heavy for one person to carry?
You can either have someone in your group help your Sherp carry it or you can check the box that lets us know we need to send backup! (Although this costs extra)
